Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Sunset Cruise

For CRK's sunset cruise event in July, I created a few graphics to promote the event. The first is a handbill version of the flyer to be handed out at tabling events before the sunset cruise. The second is a print version of the flyer for the event to be posted around town. The third is the digital flyer I created for the promotions reel we have on a TV in the office. 

The sunset cruise is an event where attendees can enjoy an evening on the lake while learning more about CRK’s role in the Headwaters. As well as enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Lanier at sunset, search for local wildlife, and learn more about the reservoir that provides the drinking water for over 5.7 million Georgians.

The colors I chose are ones that I thought would remind people of sunsets when they saw them. In fact, the colors used were pulled from the image I used as the background for the promotions reel graphic. The font for "Sunset Cruise" reminded me of the vintage style of script used to paint the name of a boat on its side, so I thought it was perfect for this event. All in all, my thought for the design was to be simple while embodying the name of the event into it.
