Boston Harbor Island Photo Contest Gifs

I made these gifs to announce the 2018 Boston Harbor Islands Photo Contest across Boston Harbor Now's social media. Although each gif is practically the same, each one is tailored to the pixel dimensions of its designated social media platform. The first gif was specifically designed for Facebook, whereas the second gif was designed for Instagram and the third gif was designed for Twitter. The image used was one submitted by a contestant in previous years and every person who enters the contest must sign a release form so that Boston Harbor Now may utilize the images. This particular image was taken by Nora Periera and is the view of the harbor from Little Brewster Island, one of the 34 Boston Harbor islands. The font used is Brandon Grotesque, the font that Boston Harbor Now uses.

I thought a gif would be perfect for announcing the contest because it is something moving that catches your eye as your scrolling through your feed and very quickly tells you what it is for. If by that point the viewer is intrigued, more information could be found in the accompanying post!
